Jordan Lejcar was born in Phoenix, and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago. She attended Illinois State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and was a member of the competition mock trial team.
Ms. Lejcar went on to attend St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida. There, she served as the Articles Solicitation Editor for the St. Thomas University Law Review and was a member of the Moot Court team. Ms. Lejcar also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Chief Judge David Gersten of the Third District Florida Appellate Court. In 2009, Ms. Lejcar was admitted to the Florida Bar and began practicing as an assistant state's attorney for the Broward County State's Attorney's Office, including multiple jury trials to verdict.
In 2010, Ms. Lejcar relocated back to her Midwestern roots and was admitted to the Illinois Bar. She is also admitted to the United States District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois, and the Northern District Bankruptcy Court. Prior to joining Power & Cronin, Ms. Lejcar defended government employees, law enforcement, and municipalities in civil rights and employment litigation. She also served as In-House Counsel to a west suburban expo center, which included providing counsel in transactional, employment, and insurance matters. Ms. Lejcar joined Power & Cronin in 2017.
