William P. Dewyer
William P. Dewyer concentrates his practice in the area of workers' compensation. He also practices in the area of insurance law and defense litigation.
Mr. Dewyer was born in Great Lakes, Illinois and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Illinois State University. In 1991, he earned his law degree from John Marshall, and was admitted to the Illinois Bar and the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois.
Mr. Dewyer joined Power & Cronin in 2000 and currently specializes in workers' compensation.
He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, West Suburban Bar Association and Cook County Mandatary Arbitration Program.
Mr. Dewyer has served as an Assistant State's Attorney for Cook County, Illinois, as well as an Associate with the law firm of Pollina & Earl, where he concentrated in insurance defense litigation, coverage issues, and personal injury. He has expertise in the areas of criminal law, personal injury, and workers' compensation matters. He has extensive jury trial experience in both criminal and civil matters.
