Kari Hardenbrook is a proven litigator with over 10 years’ experience and dedication to the Workers’ Compensation Defense practice. She has represented a broad range of industries including manufacturing, school districts, hospitals, and restaurants. She employs a collaborative approach to ensure efficient and expedited management of claims through an individualized plan to serve the client’s business interests. She also utilizes a cost-benefit analysis and defensive strategies to mitigate potential exposure and to pursue early resolution.

 

Ms. Hardenbrook was born and raised in Rockford, IL. After completing high school at Boylan Catholic High School in 2004 she attended college at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and graduated in 2008 with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and dual minor in Business and International Relations. She attended law school at New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts and graduated with a Juris Doctorate in May 2012. During the summer of 2010, she returned home and clerked for the Honorable Edward Prochaska of the 17th Judicial District. She also served as a student prosecutor for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office during her third year of law school, 2011 through 2012. After being admitted to the Illinois State Bar in November 2012, Attorney Hardenbrook began her legal career and came to join Power & Cronin, Ltd. in July 2023.

 

Ms. Hardenbrook resides in Rockford with her husband and three boys.
