Mr. Vasiliauskas focuses his practice in the areas of Business, Labor/Employment and Sports Law.  He also maintains a presence in the firm’s litigation workers’ compensation litigation practice.  In 2014, Mr. Vasiliauskas was admitted to the Illinois Bar and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Throughout his practice, Mr. Vasiliauskas has represented various entities in the negotiation of their contracts with various state agencies throughout the State of Illinois.  He has also assisted companies with forming their entities, and drafting various business agreements.

Additionally, Mr. Vasiliauskas has represented both employers and employees in the negotiation of the terms of their employment agreements, including post-employment separation agreements.  He has counseled numerous companies on employment related matters, and the preparation of their policies.

Since joining Power & Cronin, Mr. Vasiliauskas has built and manages the firm’s Sports Law practice.  He became a partner with the firm in 2021.  Mr. Vasiliauskas has experience representing athletes against the United States Anti-Doping Agency and U.S. Center for SafeSport.  In addition, Mr. Vasiliauskas has represented sports agents in their legal disputes, and helped agents prepare for contract negotiations with professional sports teams through both salary arbitration and free agency.

Mr. Vasiliauskas also has also represented several entities within the sports space, negotiating agreements with professional sports leagues, and major apparel brands.  As a former general counsel of a sports agency, Mr. Vasiliauskas brings a unique skill set to the table, which allows him to effectively represent his clients throughout the sports business.

In 2019, Mr. Vasiliauskas was admitted to the United States Court of Appeals, 7th Circuit.  He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Sports Lawyers Association.
