Gina Panepinto is a proven litigator with 23 years of diverse legal experience.  Workers’ compensation, personal injury and employment dispute resolution are her current focus and primary practice.  She has extensive experience at all levels of workers’ compensation litigation and conflict resolution as both a Petitioner’s advocate and in insurance defense.  Having been on both sides of conflicts, Ms. Panepinto has a sharpened perspective of causes of action.  One of her philosophies and approach to practice is that a strong defense that knows the offensive playbook and anticipates the next move.  In addition to workers’ compensation practice she handles employment / Human Resources related representation such as policy, discipline and compliance.  She has litigated third party litigation claims in Cook County participating in mandatory arbitration and jury trials.

Ms. Panepinto has expertise in a number of industries including transportation, manufacturing, warehousing, temporary employment, food service and hospitality.  She is mindful of the diverse issues that require expert attention in the heavy industrial trades and manufacturing as compared to the temporary workers, high turnover environments and with piece work employees.  She makes it a point that knowing a client’s business and challenges makes the difference in quality representation.

Ms. Panepinto is a Naperville native and attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish & Italian.  She is bilingual in Spanish and English, having studied in Guanajuato, Mexico.  Her Juris Doctorate is from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she participated in the Criminal Defense Clinic. As a recipient of the Justinian Scholarship, she studied in Rome, Italy for a summer semester with the Loyola Rome Center.
